Project Photo Hunt is meant to be a very simple project where I take photos with people I meet.
The Problem
My name is Eric Chua and I hope that through this project, I can overcome my shyness that I feel sometimes when I’m in the presence of strangers. I think that some people do have this strange feeling like me when in the presence of new people, although if it’s for work purposes, this shyness sort of disappears but in social situations, manz, it’s a little hard for us to approach people.
Sometimes, I even have knots in my tongue and have trouble saying a proper sentence to them! I thought it was a speech impairment until my friend suggested that it might just be a case of shyness
The Solution
I figured that one way to approach people, is to ask to take a photo with them. Ever since I begun asking people to take photos with me since 2006, I found that this shyness of mine, is slowly cured!
The earliest collection I will put online will be in late 2007, when I came back to Singapore from Australia.
So here begins the story of the project, officially begun since July 27 2008. Let’s see how well it goes!
